Ingredients

The base

  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 can water

The sweetener

  • 6 pieces soft pitted medjool dates

The flavoring

  • 2 tbsp cocoa or cacao powder
  • 1 tsp cocoa or cacao powder
  • a few drops liquid stevia

Instructions

  1. Puree the coconut milk, water, dates, cocoa powder, and liquid stevia in a high-power blender or food processor.
  2. Slowly heat the mixture until it is almost simmering.
  3. Allow it to cool to your desired temperature before serving.
