Instructions
- Heat sesame seeds in a 9-inch cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- Roast for 10 minutes, stirring constantly until seeds are golden brown.
- Transfer sesame seeds and salt to a suribachi or mortar and pestle and grind into a coarse meal.
- Store in a glass container.
- Use as a topping for kale, broccoli, or other greens.
- Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
