Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon celtic sea salt

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame seeds in a 9-inch cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  2. Roast for 10 minutes, stirring constantly until seeds are golden brown.
  3. Transfer sesame seeds and salt to a suribachi or mortar and pestle and grind into a coarse meal.
  4. Store in a glass container.
  5. Use as a topping for kale, broccoli, or other greens.
  6. Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
