Easy Southern Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey

Instructions
- Wash the collard greens thoroughly in water until clean.
- Remove the stems from the greens and slice them into smaller pieces.
- Heat a large pot or Dutch oven on medium-high heat and add olive oil, onions, and garlic.
- Sauté the onions and garlic until they are translucent and fragrant.
- Deglaze the pan by adding chicken broth.
- Layer in the greens in batches, allowing them to wilt down.
- Add Creole seasoning and the smoked turkey, then bring to a boil.
- Cover the pot, reduce the heat to medium, and let the greens cook for 2 hours or until tender.
- Remove the turkey leg, shred the meat, and return it to the pot.
- Serve the collard greens hot.
