Slow Cooker Crockpot Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds fresh collard greens
  • cups chopped white onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 leg or wing smoked turkey
  • cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on High for 3-4 hours or on Low for 7-8 hours.
  3. Open the pot, remove the smoked turkey, and shred the meat using two forks.
  4. Return the shredded meat back to the pot with the greens.
  5. Taste the greens and adjust the spices or add salt and pepper if necessary.
  6. Cool before serving.
