Ingredients

The wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings mid section and drummettes

The marinade

  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry.
  2. In a large bowl, marinate the chicken wings with all the ingredients, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Preheat the grill the next day and grill the wings until golden brown and charred on both sides.
  5. Serve immediately.
