Instructions
- Boil sugar, water, and sliced peaches in a saucepan.
- Lower heat and stir to crush the peaches, then let steep for 25-30 minutes.
- Brew the black tea in a large pot or tea maker, adjusting the amount of tea to taste.
- Remove tea bags or strain out loose tea and transfer to a pitcher to cool in the refrigerator.
- Strain the simple syrup to remove peach solids and reserve peaches for later use.
- Serve the tea over ice, adding simple syrup to taste, and garnish with fresh sliced peaches.
