Homemade Peach Iced Tea

The peach syrup

fresh peaches (diced into smaller chunks)
Instructions
- Boil 12 cups of water in a large pot.
- Remove the pot from heat and steep the tea bags for 5-7 minutes.
- After steeping, remove and discard the tea bags.
- In a saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups of water and 1 ½ cups of sugar or sweetener, heating until dissolved.
- Add sliced peaches to the syrup and mash them, allowing them to steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Strain the peach syrup into the tea in a pitcher.
- Stir to combine and adjust sweetness as needed.
- Serve chilled or over ice.
