Ingredients

The tea

  • 5 cups water
  • 5 bags black tea

The flavorings

  • ½ cup honey simple syrup
  • 1 small lemon, sliced
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2-3 sprigs fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Boil 5 cups of water and remove from heat.
  2. Steep the black tea bags in the hot water for 7-9 minutes.
  3. In a large pitcher, whisk together the honey simple syrup, lemon slices, and pinch of salt.
  4. Remove the tea bags and pour the hot tea into the pitcher.
  5. Whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
  6. Add fresh mint and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until chilled.
  7. Before serving, add ice to the pitcher, mix, and serve.
