Ingredients

The tea

  • 4 cups water
  • 5 bags black tea

For serving

  • as needed none ice
  • as needed none lemon slices

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil water in a medium pot over medium-high heat.
  2. 2. Remove the pot from heat and add the tea bags, allowing them to steep for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature or chill it.
  4. 4. Fill a large pitcher halfway with ice, then pour in the tea and add more ice.
  5. 5. Serve in glasses with ice and lemon slices on the side for garnish.
