Ingredients

The slush base

  • 7 cups water
  • 4 bags black tea or green tea
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 12 ounce container frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 12 ounce container frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 2 cups brandy

For serving

  • to taste lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
  • optional lemon and orange wedges

Instructions

  1. Boil 2 cups of water and steep the tea bags for 3 to 5 minutes before removing them.
  2. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves.
  3. In a 1-gallon container, combine the remaining 5 cups of water, sweetened tea, both frozen juice concentrates, and brandy.
  4. Freeze the mixture for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  5. To serve, scoop ½ cup of the slush into a glass and top with lemon-lime soda or sparkling water.
  6. Garnish with lemon and orange wedges if desired.
