Instructions
- Blend the marinade ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
- Reserve ⅓ cup of the marinade for serving.
- Toss the chicken with kosher salt and the remaining marinade, then marinate in the fridge for at least an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (convection) or 425°F (regular).
- Place the chicken skin-side down on a wire rack in a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
- Flip the chicken skin-side up and roast for an additional 15 to 25 minutes until cooked through.
- For air fryer, cook at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
- For grilling, cook on high heat for about 25 minutes, turning every 5-7 minutes.
- Serve the chicken with the reserved sauce.
