Ingredients

The chicken

  • 1 pound chicken breast, boneless, skinless

The marinade

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon herbes de provence
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle chili powder
  • 1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a baking dish and pour orange juice over it.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic, herbes de provence, honey, salt, and chipotle, then rub this mixture onto the chicken.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for up to 5 hours if time permits.
  4. Heat the grill and cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Cook the reserved marinade by bringing it to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Serve the chicken with the cooked marinade.
