Ingredients

The salad

  • 2 pieces tomatoes
  • 1 piece cucumber
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 cup mini fresh mozzarella balls
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves

The dressing

  • ΒΌ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • to taste salt

The bread

  • 1 lb good country bread or ciabatta bread

Instructions

  1. Mix tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, mozzarella, garlic, and basil in a bowl and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Salt the mixture to taste.
  3. Cut the bread into small pieces and add it to the bowl, mixing well.
  4. Add olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and mix again before serving.
