Instructions
- 1. Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions and lightly oil the grids.
- 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- 3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, sour cream, and eggs until well combined.
- 4. Pour the wet ingredients into the well of the dry ingredients and whisk until just smooth, being careful not to over mix.
- 5. Spoon about ¼ cup of batter into each quadrant of the waffle iron and close the lid.
- 6. Cook the waffles until golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- 7. Serve the waffles hot with maple syrup or jam on the side.
