Instructions
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and break it into large florets, then rinse well.
- Drain the florets in a colander or pat dry with a paper towel.
- Grate the florets using a box grater or process them in a food processor until finely chopped.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the oil.
- Once the oil is heated, add the cauliflower rice and cook for about 5 minutes until softened and slightly golden.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Optional: Add chopped onion or minced garlic before the cauliflower, or stir in herbs or lime juice after cooking.
- For steaming, add water or broth to the skillet, cover, and cook until tender, about 2 minutes.
