Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk, unsweetened
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine vanilla almond milk, oats, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  3. Whisk in the vanilla bean paste, maple syrup, and cinnamon and cook until oats reach the desired texture.
  4. Remove from the pot, add toppings if desired, and serve hot.
