Ingredients

The oatmeal

Toppings

Instructions

  1. 1. In a medium saucepan, bring almond milk, water, and salt to a boil.
  2. 2. Add steel cut oats, cover, and reduce heat to a simmer, cooking for 10 to 20 minutes based on your preferred oatmeal texture.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon, and honey.
  4. 4. Top with blueberries and almonds, then serve and enjoy!
  5. 5. For slow cooker method, double the recipe, combine all ingredients, and cook on warm overnight or for 8 hours on low.
