Ingredients

The fruit and sauce

  • 3 whole ripe peaches
  • ½ pint fresh blueberries
  • 3–4 teaspoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar

The cream

  • 8 ounces Mascarpone cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blueberry sauce by simmering blueberries, sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract with a bit of water until thickened.
  2. In a bowl, mix Mascarpone cheese with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, light brown sugar, and honey to taste.
  3. Slice and pit the peaches, brush them with butter, and grill them until marked.
  4. Serve the grilled peaches with blueberry sauce and a dollop of the Mascarpone cream while warm.
