Ingredients

  • ½ cup yogurt or kefir (plain, unsweetened)
  • 1 cup frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen berries
  • 3 pieces medjool dates (pitted)
  • a pinch salt

Toppings

  • to taste toasted coconut flakes
  • to taste nuts
  • to taste pumpkin seeds
  • to taste cacao nibs
  • to taste granola
  • to taste bee pollen
  • to taste dark chocolate chips
  • to taste maple syrup, honey, or coconut sugar
  • to taste nut butters (almond, cashew, peanut)
  • to taste hemp hearts or chia seeds
  • to taste fresh berries or fruits

Instructions

  1. Blend the smoothie base ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth and thick.
  2. Serve immediately in bowls and top with your choice of fruits and berries.
  3. Add crunchies and sprinkles as desired.
  4. Drizzle with sweetener if desired.
  5. Add a protein boost by spooning in nut butter or sprinkling seeds on top.
