Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Boil water in a large pot for the spaghetti.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then cook and crumble the beef until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Neufchatel cheese, and basil, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until the cheese melts.
- Cook the spaghetti in boiling water until tender but firm, about 2 minutes before the package's al dente time.
- Drain the spaghetti and mix it with the sauce in the pot.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and cover with foil, baking for 10 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle with mozzarella, and bake until the cheese melts, about 10-15 minutes.
- Let it rest before slicing and serve with optional garnish.
