Ingredients

  • cup walnuts
  • ¾ cup pitted dates
  • cup old-fashioned oats
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • a dash salt

Instructions

  1. Pulse walnuts in a blender or food processor until finely crumbled.
  2. Transfer walnut crumbs to a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Blend dates until they form a paste-like consistency and add to the bowl.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and stir until well combined.
  5. Form the mixture into about 13 bites.
  6. Store the bites in the refrigerator or freezer.
