Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Spread pastry flour on the countertop and shape the fresh dough into a circle, rolling it to a diameter of 13 inches.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with Italian seasoning and cook in a medium-heat pan until browned.
- Lightly coat a cast iron skillet with olive oil and place the rolled dough inside, forming it along the edges.
- Slice the low moisture mozzarella and layer it on the bottom of the crust.
- Add the cooked ground beef on top of the cheese, followed by chopped fresh mozzarella and shredded mozzarella.
- Using a slotted spoon, spread the crushed tomatoes evenly over the top, then sprinkle with oregano and grated Parmesan.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 400 degrees and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
