Korean Fried Chicken

The chicken

boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into 2 inch pieces

The sauce

ketchup

gochujang sauce

honey

brown sugar

soy sauce

sesame oil
Instructions
- Prepare the eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix the flour and cornstarch together in a shallow bowl.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees F.
- Dip each piece of chicken in egg, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Fry the chicken in batches for 5 minutes or until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- While frying, whisk together the sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Simmer the sauce in a small pot until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the sauce over the fried chicken and toss to coat, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with green onions if desired.
