Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

The biscuits
Instructions
- In a cast iron skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage, stirring frequently.
- When the sausage is halfway cooked, add the dehydrated onion and a few shakes of Tabasco sauce.
- Once the sausage is fully cooked, add the flour and stir to coat completely.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and whisk in 1 cup of milk until thickened and bubbly.
- Add another 2 cups of milk and season with salt, additional Tabasco sauce, and black pepper to taste.
- If desired, add up to 1 more cup of milk for desired consistency.
- To serve, break the biscuits in half and spoon the gravy over them.
