Ingredients

Dressing

  • ¼ cup finely minced shallots
  • ¼ cup white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 pinches salt
  • teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • cup extra virgin olive oil

Salad

  • to taste greens
  • to taste radishes, thinly sliced
  • to taste turnips, thinly sliced
  • to taste snow peas, snap peas, or celery, thinly sliced
  • to taste scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 jar (6.7 oz) tuna, drained
  • to taste shallot vinaigrette
  • to taste fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing by combining shallots, vinegar, salt, and sugar in a bowl and letting it stand for 10 to 15 minutes. Whisk in olive oil and adjust seasoning as needed.
  2. In a large bowl, combine greens, radishes, turnips, snow peas, scallions, and tuna.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad to taste, add fresh cracked pepper, and toss gently before serving.
