Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup cherries
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 can (5.4 ounces) coconut cream

Instructions

  1. Slice and pit the cherries, then chop them roughly.
  2. Divide the rolled oats, milk, chopped cherries, and chia seeds between two jars.
  3. Add maple syrup and almond extract, then stir to combine.
  4. Stir again after 2 minutes to prevent clumping of chia seeds.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. To make whipped coconut cream, whip the coconut cream until light and fluffy.
  7. Top the overnight oats with whipped coconut cream and additional cherries before serving.
