Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar

Wet Ingredients

  • cups mashed bananas
  • ½ cup butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Add-ins

  • ½ cup sliced strawberries
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 9x4-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.
  3. Add the wet ingredients (mashed banana, melted butter, vanilla, milk, and apple cider vinegar) to the dry mix and combine.
  4. Fold in half of the strawberries and chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and top with remaining strawberries and chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing and serving.
