Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup sour cream or yogurt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

The Rest

  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 - 1½ cups chopped strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉/175℃ and grease a 9”×5” loaf pan.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, sour cream, both sugars, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until thoroughly combined.
  5. Pour in the melted butter and mix well, then fold in the strawberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
