Brussels Sprouts Cranberry Salad

The salad

fresh Brussels sprouts, cored and thinly sliced

The dressing

water

granulated sugar

Zest and juice of 2
medium lemons

freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Boil water and sugar in a saucepan until dissolved, then cool slightly.
- Soak cranberries in the sugar water overnight in the refrigerator, then dry them.
- Whisk together lemon zest and juice, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Add Brussels sprouts to the dressing and toss to coat.
- Transfer Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl and top with cranberries, goat cheese, bacon, and walnuts.
- Serve immediately.
