The glaze

Instructions
- Whisk together the dry ingredients and set aside.
- Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time.
- Mix in the sour cream, lemon zest, and vanilla, then add the flour mixture until combined.
- Chill the dough for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F during the last 10 minutes of chilling.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 14-15 minutes until golden on the bottom and set.
- Cool on the baking sheet briefly before transferring to a wire rack.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing cream cheese and lemon juice, then add powdered sugar until smooth.
- Spread the glaze over cooled cookies and let it set.
