Ketchup Rice

Ingredients

The rice

  • 2 cups cooked rice

The protein

  • 200 g chicken meat

The vegetables

  • ½ onion onion
  • ½ carrot carrot
  • ¼ cup frozen peas

The condiments

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken meat into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. Dice the onion and carrots and set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and cook the chicken meat until it changes color.
  4. Add the onion and carrot to the frying pan and cook until softened.
  5. Add the cooked rice and ketchup to the frying pan, stirring constantly until the rice is evenly coated with ketchup.
  6. Add the thawed green peas and stir to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
