Ingredients

The steak

  • 1 (8-16 oz) Rib Eye Steak (1" to 1.25" thick)

The seasoning

  • ½-1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • ¾ tsp Pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
  • ¾ tsp Low Sodium Steak Seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the steak with salt, pepper, and any optional spices, then let it come to room temperature.
  2. Preheat the air fryer at 390° F for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Place the steak in the air fryer basket and close the lid quickly.
  4. Cook an 8 oz steak for 8 minutes or a 16 oz steak for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Check the internal temperature of the steak for desired doneness.
  6. Remove the steak and let it rest for 5-8 minutes before slicing.
