Heart Shaped Strawberry Hand Pies

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the strawberry pie filling with lemon zest and set aside.
- Roll out the pie crusts to 1/8-inch thickness and cut out 24 to 28 heart shapes.
- Brush half of the hearts with egg wash, then place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each.
- Cover with the remaining hearts, pressing edges to seal and venting the tops with slits.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
- Bake for 12 minutes until golden and bubbling, then cool on a wire rack.
