The eggs

  • 6 eggs eggs

The water

  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Fill a medium saucepan with about 1 inch of water and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Place eggs in a steamer basket and lower it into the saucepan.
  3. Cover the saucepan, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook for 13 minutes.
  4. Prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with ice and cold water.
  5. When the eggs are done, remove them from the hot water and submerge them in the ice bath for about 5 minutes.
  6. Peel the eggs or store them in the refrigerator.
