The eggs

  • 6 units eggs

The water

  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. 1. Fill a medium saucepan with 1 inch of water and bring it to a rolling boil on high heat.
  2. 2. Place eggs in a steamer basket and transfer it to the saucepan.
  3. 3. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low, cooking for 6 ½ minutes.
  4. 4. Meanwhile, set up an ice bath by filling a large bowl with ice and water.
  5. 5. When the eggs are done, use tongs or a slotted spoon to remove them from the hot water and submerge them in the ice bath for about 5 minutes.
