Instructions
- 1. Fill a medium pot with water and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- 2. Carefully lower the eggs into the water using a slotted spoon and let them simmer for 7 minutes.
- 3. Prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with cold water and adding ice.
- 4. Once the timer goes off, transfer the eggs to the ice bath for at least 3 minutes.
- 5. Tap the bottom of each egg to crack the shell and use a small spoon to loosen and remove the shell.
- 6. Season the eggs with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
