Instructions
- Place the eggs in a single layer at the bottom of a large saucepan and cover with water, ensuring at least 1 inch of water above them.
- Add vinegar and salt to the pot and stir gently.
- Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, set a timer for 1 minute for very runny yolks or 2 minutes for slightly runny yolks.
- Prepare an ice water bath or run cold water until ice cold.
- When the timer goes off, drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to the ice water bath or run cold water over them.
- If serving immediately, remove the eggs once warm but not hot, peel off the top, and enjoy. If saving for later, let them cool to room temperature before peeling.
