Easy Peel Hard Boiled Eggs

Ingredients

The eggs

  • 8 large Eggs

The cooking liquid

  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan and cover with enough water to have at least 1 inch above the eggs.
  2. Add vinegar and salt to the pot and stir gently.
  3. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  4. Once boiling, set a timer based on desired doneness (1-10 minutes).
  5. Before the timer goes off, prepare an ice bath by running cold water or filling a bowl with ice water.
  6. When the timer goes off, drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to the cold water to cool for about 10 minutes.
  7. To peel, gently roll the egg on the counter to crack the shell and peel it off.
