Instructions

  1. Fill a pot halfway with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water, ensuring they are in an even layer and covered by at least an inch of water.
  3. Reduce the heat to maintain a gentle simmer and time for 12 minutes.
  4. Prepare a bowl of ice water.
  5. After 12 minutes, remove the eggs from the pot and place them in the ice water for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Peel the eggs immediately after removing them from the ice water, starting from the larger end.
