Jamaican Cabbage and Shrimp

Instructions
- Chop the cabbage and set it aside.
- Heat a large skillet with 1-2 tablespoons of oil.
- Add the shrimp and season lightly with salt and your favorite seasonings, sauté for 3-5 minutes, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the bacon until brown and crisp, about 3-5 minutes, then set aside.
- Leave 1-2 tablespoons of bacon drippings in the pan, add more oil if needed.
- Add thyme, onions, green onions, garlic, scotch bonnet pepper, paprika, bell pepper, and allspice, and sauté for about 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped cabbage, chicken bouillon (if using), and white pepper, stirring to combine.
- Cook for about 5 minutes or until the cabbage is cooked to your liking, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve the cabbage topped with the sautéed shrimp or on the side.
