Ingredients

The crust

  • 12 pieces Oreos (leave in cream filling, don't use Double Stuf)
  • 2 Tbsp butter (melted)

The mousse

  • 1 ⅓ cups heavy cream
  • 4 Tbsp granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 2 Tbsp Nutella
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

The topping

  • cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ Tbsp granulated sugar
  • to taste toasted, chopped hazelnuts (optional)
  • to taste chocolate shavings or sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by blending crushed Oreos with melted butter and pressing the mixture into dessert cups.
  2. Chill the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the mousse.
  3. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add sugar and cocoa powder and whip to stiff peaks.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip cream cheese with sugar until smooth, then mix in Nutella and vanilla.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
  6. Pipe the mousse over the chilled crust in each cup and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  7. For the topping, whip heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form and pipe over the mousse.
  8. Garnish with hazelnuts and chocolate shavings if desired before serving.
