Ingredients

The dip

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 4 cups refried beans
  • 1-2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 4 oz green chilies, canned, diced
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1½-2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • ½ cup jalapeno, diced (optional)
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half or chopped

Optional toppings

  • 1 green onion, diced
  • ½ jalapeno, sliced
  • 2-3 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped

Serving

  • tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, refried beans, taco seasoning, green chiles, sour cream, Greek yogurt, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
  4. Transfer the bean mixture into a baking dish and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with chopped tomatoes, green onion, jalapenos, and cilantro.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
