Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 9” springform pan with lard or ghee.
- Combine all dry ingredients in a food processor and mix well.
- Transfer the dry mixture to a large bowl and add the chopped fruits and nuts, mixing thoroughly.
- Blend all wet ingredients in the food processor until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake for 70-75 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely on a rack before removing from the pan.
- For the glaze, mix all glaze ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
- Place the cake on a plate and pour the glaze over it, spreading evenly.
- Garnish with the reserved dried fruits and nuts.
