Instructions
- Make the hot honey sauce by combining honey, red pepper flakes, apple cider vinegar, and garlic in a saucepan, then heat until boiling and set aside to cool.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370-375ºF.
- Slice the chicken into 1.5-2 inch pieces.
- Process the corn flakes, flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, ground mustard, and paprika in a food processor until breadcrumb-like.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and water.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then in the cornflake mixture, repeating the process for extra crunch.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, place chicken pieces inside without overcrowding, drizzle with oil, and cook for 4 minutes, flip, and cook for another 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Toss the cooked chicken with the hot honey sauce in a mixing bowl and serve.
