Homemade Enchilada Sauce

Instructions
- Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Add spices and whisk until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in tomato paste and whisk together.
- Slowly pour in vegetable broth while whisking until the mixture is smooth.
- Increase heat to medium-high and cook until bubbles start to surface, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and use immediately or store in a covered container.
