Instructions
- Prepare the steak marinade and marinate the steaks for at least 3 hours, up to 24 hours.
- Remove the steaks from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to let them come to room temperature and pat them dry.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add butter to the skillet and melt it, then sear the steaks for about 2 minutes on one side and 1-2 minutes on the other side.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 2 to 6 minutes depending on desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
