Instructions
- Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel.
- Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Cook the steaks in a single layer for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
- Use a thermometer to check for desired doneness, ideally medium at 145°F.
- While the steak cooks, mix butter, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Let the steaks rest for at least 5 minutes off the heat.
- Top each steak with a dollop of garlic butter, slice, and serve.
