Sirloin Steak Tips

The steak and marinade

Top sirloin steaks (cut into 1.5-inch pieces)

Instructions
- Whisk together 3 tablespoons of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Pat the steak pieces dry and add them to the marinade, coating well. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high to high heat until a drop of water sizzles.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet and add the steak tips in a single layer, cooking for 30 to 60 seconds on each side until browned.
- Remove the steak tips from the pan immediately to prevent overcooking and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve with chimichurri sauce if desired.
