Ingredients

The steak

  • 1-1½ pounds top sirloin steak, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • to taste none Salt
  • 2-3 teaspoons Creole seasoning

The sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ cup onions, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lightly salt the steak and season with Creole seasoning and pepper, then set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add the steak tips in a single layer and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then turn and cook for 1-2 minutes on the other side.
  4. If necessary, work in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  5. Make space in the pan, add butter and garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and onions, and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat the meat in the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed veggies.
