Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven or soup pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and season with spices, then sear both sides.
- Remove the seared beef from the pot and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add onions and garlic, cooking until translucent.
- Add butter to the pot and let it melt.
- Stir in flour gradually to create a roux, avoiding clumps.
- Pour in broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until gravy thickens.
- Return the seared beef to the pot, cover, and simmer on low for 1-2 hours until tender.
